     Figel (Fanny) Hofstadter was often called Fanny. She died on 24 May 1932.

     Jenta (Jennie) Hofstadter was often called Yettie. She died on 22 January 1929.

     Louis Hofstadter was a cutter of men's clothing at the 1920 census, Manhattan; a tobacco salesman at the 1930 census.

He was born circa 1881 Austria; age shown as 48 yrs at 1930 census. He married Henrietta Koenigsberg, daughter of Isaac Koenigsberg and Ella (?). Louis Hofstadter died circa 1948.

     Malie (Amalia) Hofstadter was also known as Mollie or Malie. She was born on 10 September 1869 Krakow, Austria; (age shown as 57 years at 1920 census). She married Moris Sherower Krakow, Galicia, Poland; an autonomous part of Austria from 1866, but later Krakov, Krakowskiego, Poland. Malie (Amalia) Hofstadter and Moris Sherower emigrated on 28 July 1903; to USA in the STATENDAM from Rotterdam, Netherlands with five of their children to join some of Mali's relatives. Son Max is said to have travellied to America alone later as a cabin boy on a tramp steamer at about age 10. Malie (Amalia) Hofstadter was naturalized in 1904; according to 1920 census. She died on 5 September 1935 at age 65.

     Robert Hofstadter PhD was a Physicist and 1961 Nobel Laureate, he did pioneering studies of electron scattering in atomic nuclei and the structure of nucleons. He taught at Stanford University from 1950-1985.

He was born on 5 February 1915 New York, NY. They had at least 3 children: Laura J, Douglas R (qv), Mary.. He died on 17 November 1990 Santa Clara, CA, at age 75.

     Rubin Hofstadter was born in December 1858 Krakow, Galicia, Austria; age shown as 52 yrs at 1910 census. He immigrated in July 1898; from Hamburg. He was naturalized on 30 December 1903 Eastern District Court of NY, New York, NY.

     Shole (Sam) Hofstadter died on 2 July 1934; never married, dsp.

     Theresa Elizabeth Hoggard was born on 9 March 1870 Laurel Hill, DeKalb Co, TN. She married Sylvanus Wales Bartlett, son of Gallant Bartlett and Nancy Davis, on 16 July 1899 Laurel Hill, DeKalb Co, TN. Theresa Elizabeth Hoggard died on 22 August 1950 Logan, Cache Co, UT, at age 80.

     Barbara Hohneisen was born in 1755. She married Peter Ricksecker, son of Peter Ricksecker and Anna Jung, on 29 August 1779. Barbara Hohneisen died in 1830.

     Caroline Elizabeth Holcomb was born on 5 February 1823 Westmoreland, Oneida Co, NY. She married Hiram J. Burleigh on 24 December 1845 Westmoreland, Oneida Co, NY.

She married William Bernard Carlen, son of Hugh Webb Carlin and Martha Pemberton, on 6 November 1845 Rock Springs Creek, Jackson Co, TN; later part of Putnam County. Sarah Caroline Holladay died on 22 January 1866 at age 45. She was buried Flat Rock, Wilson Co, TN.

     Stephen Holladay was born in 1792. He married Henrietta Draper. Stephen Holladay died on 2 January 1842.

     Henry Hollanbeck married Margaret Ann Ricketts, daughter of John Briscoe Ricketts and Sarah Ricketts.
