     John Larkin was a merchant, inn holder and land owner/speculator in Anne Arundel County, Maryland from about 1655 to 1702; he was influential in early business and politics of the colony and provided a meeting place for the first state assembly at his inn, which was well situated on the post road to Annapolis in Anne Arundel County.

She was also known as Mehitabel. She was born circa 1666. She married Otho Holland, son of William Holland, in 1684. Mehitable Larkin survived Otho Holland in February 1701 Anne Arundel Co, MD. Mehitable Larkin married John Pierpoint, son of Robert Pierpoint, in June 1703 Anne Arundel Co, MD; Son John's will 8 Mar 1710 names his mother Mehitible (Holland) Pierpoint, as a legatee - to receive "Welches Adventure" in Baltimore Co.
