They had 5 children: Nancy E, Josephine A, Thomas J, Winship B Jr, John A F.. Winship Blackstone Petty died on 14 January 1923 Carthage, Smith Co, TN, at age 88. He was buried on the "old Petty home place", nr Carthage, Smith Co, TN.
