     William Ridgely II was born circa 1678 Anne Arundel Co, MD. He married Jane Westall, daughter of George Westall II and Sarah Wade, on 4 March 1701/2 All Hallowes Parish, Anne Arundel Co, MD. They had 6 children: William (qv), Westall (qv), Sarah, John (qv), Martha (qv), Alice (qv).. William Ridgely II died circa 1719 MD; Letters of Administration granted to his widow on 10 June 1719.

     Amon Riggs was a landowner and planter in Montgomery Co MD, he entered the militia as a lieutenant abt 1776 and was later commissioned as a Captain of a company from the lower District of Frederick Co.

He was born on 21 April 1748 MD. He married Ruth Griffith on 21 December 1769. They had perhaps 9 children: John, Henry, Charles, Amon, James, Samuel, Eleanor, Mary, Joshua .. Amon Riggs died on 16 March 1822 Clarksburg, Montgomery Co, MD, at age 73.

     Elisha Riggs was born on 4 October 1742 Anne Arundel Co, MD. He died on 6 June 1777 at age 34.

     Samuel Riggs was born on 6 October 1740 Anne Arundel Co, MD. He married Amelia Dorsey, daughter of Capt. Philemon Dorsey Sr. and Katherine Ridgely, circa 1767. They had 12 children: Mary, Henrietta, Thomas (qv), Anna, Reuben, George W, Elisha, Eleanor, Romulus, Julia, Samuel , Remus. Samuel Riggs died on 25 May 1814 Bordley's Choice, Montgomery Co, MD, at age 73.

     Sarah H. Riggs was born on 19 September 1797 Brookville, Montgomery Co, MD. She married Philemon Griffith.

     Thomas Riggs was born on 12 January 1773 Anne Arundel Co, MD. He married Mary Riggs, daughter of Elisha Riggs, on 17 November 1796; (cousins). Thomas Riggs died on 10 January 1845 at age 71.

     Alice D. Rittenhouse was born on 15 February 1921. She married Ralph Wesley Bowman, son of Edward Ray Bowman and Edna Estella Busch, on 7 January 1945. They had 2 adopted children: Terry L, Linda K. Alice D. Rittenhouse died on 17 August 1980 at age 59.

     John Ritter married Mary Glick, daughter of Johann Peter Glick and Anna Mariah Barbara Schumacher.
