     Thomas Tasker was born circa 1676; Said to have died in England as a young man, unmarried.

     Capt. Thomas Tasker was a prosperous merchant, shipowner and landholder. He was commissioned a Justice of Calvert County Maryland on 30 May 1685, he served as Captain of the Foote in the county militia from September 1689. He was a member of the provincial Council of Maryland from 18 March 1698/99 until his death.

He was born circa 1642 Yorkshire, England. He immigrated in 1673; to Maryland from England. He married Rebecca Isaack, daughter of Richard Isaacke and Elizabeth Sharpe, circa 1676 Calvert Co, MD. Capt. Thomas Tasker died before 31 August 1700 Calvert Co, MD; will (dated 16 Mar 1699) proved.

     Emeline Ensor Tate was born on 30 September 1843 Smith Co, TN. She married William Petty, son of Stephen Petty and Sarah Carr, on 15 October 1856 Smith Co, TN. Emeline Ensor Tate died on 18 July 1907 Smith Co, TN, at age 63. She was buried Dr. Gross (Pickard) Cemetery, Possum Valley, Smith Co, TN.

     Catharena Tausend was born circa 1720 Palitanate, Germany. She married Johan Peter Grauel PA. Catharena Tausend died Mecklenburg Co, NC; St John'a Lutheran Church on Buffalo Creek (now in Cabarrus Co) listed Catherine Croll as a communicant on 26 May 1798).

     John Tayloe was a member of the Council of Virginia in 1732, he resided in Richmond.

He was born on 15 February 1688. He married Elizabeth Gwynn circa 1715. They had 4 known children: William, John (qv), Elizabeth, Ann C.. John Tayloe survived Elizabeth Gwynn on 24 September 1734. John Tayloe died in November 1747 at age 59.

     John Tayloe II was educated in England. He became a wealthy businessman and landholder in the Virginia colony, owning early iron mines and the Neabso and Occoquan furnaces. He was a member of the Ohio Company. He built Mt Airy in Richmond County and was known as a breeder of fine racehorses.

In 1757 he was appointed as a member of the Virginia Colonial Council under Lord Governor John Dunmore, and was later elected to the first council of Virginia under Governor Patrick Henry. He resigned that last position about two and a half years before his death.

John Tayloe II died on 18 April 1779 at age 57.

     Col. John Tayloe III was born on 13 September 1770. He married Ann Ogle, daughter of Benjamin Ogle and Henrietta Margaret Hill, on 24 October 1792. Col. John Tayloe III died on 23 March 1828 at age 57.

     Ann Taylor was born. She married Samuel Chew, son of Col. Samuel Chew and Anne Ayres, on 14 April 1682 Anne Arundel Co, MD. They had 6 children: Samuel (qv), Ann, John, Benjamin, Joseph, Nathaniel.. Ann Taylor died before 1704.

     Capt. John Taylor Gent. was born circa 1663. He married Henrietta Maria Lucy, daughter of Robert Lucy and Sarah Frances Barker, circa 1685. Capt. John Taylor Gent. died before 9 November 1709 Prince George Co, VA.

     John Martin Taylor married Jimmie Mae Wall, daughter of James Henry Wall and Myrtle Mae Mason. John Martin Taylor died before April 1995.
