     Edith Anne Duke was a Registered Nurse, she enjoyed reading and music, and was writing her personal life history in early 1999. Her obituary in the St. Petersburg Times mentioned that she had been nursing at the Bayfront Medical Center, was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Gulfport where she was a parish nurse. She volunteered at the St. Petersburgh Free Clinic and played bass in the St. Petersburg Symphony. She contributed much family information to these pages.
